Jeremy “Jermz” Bixler has been playing music his entire life. With a penchant to merge music and mindfulness, Jeremy believes that when combined, the two make a formidable formula to elevate the spirit and consciousness, process cognitive dissonance, and heal from within.

Since high school age he has started and fronted many musical acts and genres, from ska to surf-rock to power-pop to metal, and recorded numerous albums.

Clearly Jeremy believes in reincarnation and second chances. His cattywampus sojourn through addiction began legally at the age of 21 while attending Pepperdine University, where he was Radio Programming Director. He quickly found that a predisposition to depression and absolutely no control of moderation were a life-numbing combination. The painful vicissitudes led to jails and institutions, but also finally to a Treatment Facility in Battle Creek, Michigan, and followed with a short residency at a Meditation Center in 2015, he has been sober ever since.

Currently, he lives the punk rock dream in Portland, Oregon as a singer/songwriter/guitar slayer at the helm of Undude, a band at the forefront of the mindful grunge movement in PDX. His persistence and passion for helping others using the vehicle of music led him to connect with Rock to Recovery, where he is the flagship Program Administrator for the Pacific Northwest.
