Paul Moen has over 14 years of experience working in the drug and alcohol recovery field. He’s currently the CEO of Balboa Horizons, a chemical dependency treatment center located in Orange County, CA. Paul started out in the music scene as a club promoter and band manager, and met Wesley when he was touring with Hed P.E.
Moen ended up in rehab in 1999 and once sober he started running a sober living home of his own.
Wesley told Paul about his ideas for Rock to Recovery and Paul was on board immediately. Music is what helped both Wesley and Paul get through and maintain sobriety.
He is proud to be a Board Member with Writers in Treatment, a non-profit organization that supports men and women in the writing industry who suffer from alcoholism, drug addiction and other self-destructive behaviors. He is also an active member of the Surfrider Foundation, a volunteer with the Secret Angel Foundation. As a passionate advocate for those in recovery and the power of music to transform, Paul is extremely proud to be on the Board of Directors and looks forward to Rock to Recovery’s future.
