# Rock to Recovery

> Rock to Recovery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 46-2782110) that amplifies the power of music to fuel emotional recovery. Founded on 12/12/12 by Wes Geer, the organization brings professional musicians in recovery into treatment settings to lead groups through writing, playing, and recording original songs as a band. No musical experience is required. The mission is delivered through a three-prong flywheel: Create Awareness, Host Community Events, and Facilitate Music Sessions — with therapeutic sessions procured at below-market rates from BandJAM, the group music wellness platform behind every session.
