Joe Toback

Joe Toback has worn many hats in the music industry, from playing guitar and vocals alongside Grammy award winning artists, such as drummer David Silveria from Korn, to contributing his killer talents to his many hard rock/metal groups such as Needlemouth, 12 Gauge Embrace, Breaking In a Sequence, and Unlovely Creature. Not only does Joe play a crucial role in each musical group he is a part of, he extends his talents to a wide range of areas, such as to self-help nonprofit, Rock to Recovery, where he administers sessions every month to help those in need.

Battling with addiction himself, and now 15 plus years sober, Joe decided to make his mark on Rock to Recovery by becoming a facilitator in 2021 after working with them behind the scenes since 2017. Rock to Recovery is a nonprofit that uses the healing power of music to transform the lives of those struggling with mental health issues, addiction, trauma, and other physical and emotional ailments. Through writing, playing, and performing music with other RTR members, those involved in Rock to Recovery are able to experience connection and understanding to transcend their current life struggles to create a better quality of life for themselves, and those around them. Joe has found tremendous meaning in helping others through his time at Rock to Recovery, as it combines his passion for sober-living with his passion for playing music and helping others.
