Rock to Recovery awarded The World Dignity Project Mental Health Champions Award 2018 in the NGOs and Charities category

For its work with those suffering from mental illness and addiction, Rock to Recovery was awarded The World Dignity Project Mental Health Champions Award 2018 in the NGOs and Charities category. More than 2000 people from around the world cast votes to choose Rock to Recovery for this award. We are truly honored to have our work recognized.

The stigma related to mental illness prevents millions from accessing the care they need and deserve. Stigma also keeps governments and agencies from allocating appropriate resources and attention to the treatment of mental illness and the fostering of mental health.

The World Dignity Project is a global movement that seeks to put dignity back in the treatment of those seeking healing and support for mental illness.

Rock to Recovery will share more about our work and participate in the World Dignity Project event, “Tackling Stigma, Mobilizing Hope” in San Diego, June 11 – 13, 2020.
